I know that jobhunting can be tough. You feel like you're sending out countless resumes and getting no response, or going on interview after interview and not getting any callbacks, and not knowing why. Or how about all of those odd things that hiring managers and HR Directors do--seemingly to drive you crazy? Making you wait in the receptionist area for hours, multiple group interviews, leading you on so that you think you have the job...etc.
I want to hear all about it. I'm not in the trenches, you are! I can provide the perspective of the hiring manager and the human resources department.
The only thing I ask from you? That you want to HEAR the other perspective. I won't be able to explain everything--some hiring managers, just like some people, are just jerks--but where I can, I will provide a different perspective. You may agree, you may not. That's OK. We're all here to learn from eachother. Neverending rants aren't especially helpful to other people's learning.
